Geheizt wird mit Holz aus dem eigenen Wald, das Wasser kommt aus dem eigenen Brunnen und Strom wird mit einer Photovoltaikanlage produziert. Aktuell wird das alte Wassersystem für weitere Stromproduktion reaktiviert. Lebensmittel werden so viel wie möglich im großen Permakulturgarten selbst angebaut.
