Sustainability is taken into account across the board, from energy generation using a combined heat and power plant, waste separation, environmentally friendly cleaning products and vegan cosmetics in the apartments to organic coffee and tea. Attention is paid to short distances, and all employees, including the chambermaids, live in the village. And there are numerous bee-friendly plants in the garden. The bed linen and towels are cleaned in an organic laundry.
Two buildings that couldn't be more different: A 200-year-old barn, renovated and furnished with great attention to detail, and a super modern new building, with a natural garden to relax in between.In our 200-year-old barn you will find seven apartments of different sizes, which we have designed and furnished to the highest standards. Do you love design and art? Then this is your „place to be“.
Each apartment is carefully decorated with a selection of found objects, original design furniture, mid-century furniture and objets d'art. Each apartment is inspiring in its own right and invites you to stay.
When you enter the Art Apartment in our brand new building, it's not clear at first whether you've wandered into an art gallery after all. Here, people live, work and meet between a three-meter-high painting by Simon Czapla and the original Cactus from the 1970s by Guido Drocco.
But the beauty is one thing. Of course, you will find everything you need for your comfort and luxury in our apartments: the finest bed linen, cozy towels, fully equipped kitchens with cooking utensils, vegan cosmetics, hiking maps and much more.
Relax in the shared garden, which is a wonderful place for a good cappuccino from our FAEMA E61 or a cool glass of wine.

Our location is just outside Freiburg i.Br. in Gundelfingen. Gundelfingen is a small town in Baden, where urban life with a rural character is lived. Our location is in the center of the town, so that grocery stores, streetcar stops, restaurants and cafés can be easily reached on foot.
