Exclusive Event Venue for Offsite Meetings on the Middle Rhine
A salon villa nestled in the heart of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Some conversations require a break from everyday life. And some decisions call for a place that fosters new ideas.
Villa Königsstuhl is a private hideaway for strategy offsites, executive retreats, negotiations, and creative sessions high above the Rhine.
The stately villa, built in 1929, underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2025–26. Today, historic architecture meets contemporary interior design and the concept of modern salon culture.
On the ground floor, three salons connected in a series and the villa’s large kitchen form the heart of the house. These are workspaces that are deliberately designed to feel different from traditional meeting rooms.
This is where people think, discuss, develop ideas, negotiate, and make decisions. But people also cook and eat together here, or continue their conversations over a glass of wine long after the actual workday is over. It is precisely this seamless transition between focused work and time spent together that sets the villa apart from a traditional conference venue.
Three spacious suites with separate living areas and kitchenettes, two studios with kitchenettes, and a lounge offer a total of seven bedrooms. This ensures that, even for small teams, everyone has the opportunity to retreat to their own private space.
During a retreat, the house is reserved exclusively for one team. No other guests, no hotel lobby, no conference activities. You live and work under one roof for a few days yet still have plenty of space to yourself. This fosters a sense of privacy and tranquility, especially for strategic planning, leadership teams, partner groups, and creative teams.
Surrounding the villa, the workspace extends into the great outdoors. A 10,000 m² private park with mature trees, a large terrace, a pool, and a tennis court provide space and new perspectives. The forest begins right behind the property. In front of the villa, the view opens up across the Upper Middle Rhine Valley—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—all the way to Marksburg Castle. A sauna, relaxation room, and gym in the basement round out the villa’s amenities.
Koblenz, Boppard, and the cultural and wine-growing regions of the Rhine and Moselle are all nearby. And yet, up in the villa, you feel surprisingly far removed from everyday life.
Villa Königsstuhl is deliberately not a traditional seminar venue. It is a private home for small teams who want to come together in a different setting for a few days. Work with focus, develop new perspectives, retreat, eat together, continue conversations, and simply clear your head in between.
A place for small teams tackling big issues. And for ideas that sometimes only emerge when you step outside your usual surroundings.
The venue is located above Rhens and offers a panoramic view of the Rhine Valley. Koblenz is just a few minutes away, as are Boppard and Lahnstein. Travel by train to Koblenz Central Station (approx. 9 km) and continue by taxi. For international teams, we recommend flying into Frankfurt Airport or Cologne-Bonn. Drivers should take the A61 and local access roads; parking is available on site. It’s the perfect way to combine nature, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and easy accessibility
