We explore, test, and shape the fundamental building blocks of a sustainable community. On our 10-hectare project site, we create unforgettable experiences, share knowledge, and inspire. As part of global change, we strengthen the societal transformation toward a conscious life of connectedness and promote regenerative economic practices.
The location can be used in both summer and winter. The settings simply vary greatly, accommodating groups of 10 people up to conferences, festivals and camps with maximum 750 people.
We are a real-world laboratory for regenerative living, working, and economic activity. For 10 years, we have been testing and living out sustainable solutions, promoting purpose, community, and ecological responsibility. Through the “Zukunftsorte” network, we are reshaping rural spaces, sharing knowledge, exchanging experiences, and creating spaces for collective growth. In this way, we sow the seeds for a regenerative, socially just, and vibrant future.
Our location is easily accessible between Hamburg and Berlin. The easiest way to get there is by carpool—for example, via BlaBlaCar—to the A24 exit at Zarrentin (the “Gerlinde” commuter parking lot). From there, it’s only 6 km to the venue. Take the train to Schwanheide, then continue on the on-demand bus 830 directly to our gate. The on-demand bus must be booked two hours in advance and takes about 20 minutes.
