Retreats and management meetings in a peaceful, natural atmosphere.
The event location combines historical architecture with modern, sustainable living: The listed windmills in Laer are home to three high-quality renovated vacation apartments that can be used individually or together, ideal for offsites, retreats and management meetings in a quiet, natural atmosphere.
Up to 16 people can be accommodated in seven bedrooms plus sofa bed; terraces, garden and a fire pit quickly become the social hub after workshops.
Inside, warm oak wood meets underfloor heating, clay plaster and simple, self-designed furniture. The result: a clear, calm setting in which teams can work in a focused way, deepen conversations and come together in the evening without an agenda.
Sustainability is not a label, but a construction and operating principle: the historic buildings have been renovated with clay plaster, wood wool insulation, solid oak beams and our own wood, ensuring a healthy indoor climate and a long service life. Behind the location is a company that relies on precise, resource-conserving agriculture and forestry.
The location is in the Sauerland: Laer is part of Meschede. Travel by train to Meschede, then by cab or shuttle by arrangement. Dortmund makes sense by flight; alternatively Paderborn/Lippstadt. Teams can easily reach the location by car from the Ruhr area. There are forest paths, a quiet neighborhood and plenty of space to go out between sessions and regroup.
