Our hotel in Friedrichshafen-Fischbach has been run by the same family since 1936 and is now in its fourth generation. It began on Whit Sunday 1936 as a small café and guesthouse in the village center. Today the original building is joined by the newer Hofhaus: a quiet inner courtyard around which guest rooms, meeting rooms and the sauna are arranged. All 75 hotel rooms have air conditioning, and there are 4 apartments as well. The hotel is listed in the TOP 250 conference hotels ranking for Germany.
Ten meeting rooms between 20 and 109 m² cover a wide range: a retreat for six around one table in the Kabinett, a workshop in the Gartensaal with daylight and theater seating for up to 70, or a reception for 80 guests in the Salon. The Salon divides into three smaller rooms, the Gartensaal and the Kabinett into two each. That makes plenary and breakout sessions easy to plan. The Gartensaal and the Kabinett have screens up to 75 inches, ClickShare, a soundbar and fast Wi-Fi. The meeting package starts at 79 euros per person per day including VAT, for groups of 8 or more, with room, meeting beverages, two coffee breaks and a 3-course lunch.
Coffee comes from the Hensler roastery in organic and Fairtrade quality. Our restaurant, recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, cooks with produce from growers around Lake Constance, and every dish includes a product from the Slow Food Ark of Taste. À la carte, the restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday evenings, and the kitchen takes orders until 9:30 pm. For groups we also open at lunchtime and on other weekdays by arrangement, with a breakfast, lunch, coffee or dinner table and, if you like, a reception with canapés. Breakfast is served à la carte, and for groups as a buffet when booked in advance.
Everything for a break is close at hand. Inside the hotel there is a Swiss stone pine sauna, a steam room and massages, plus the sun terrace. The lakeshore is 300 meters away, with a natural beach and the public lido, and the lakeside path and jogging routes start at the door.
Arriving by train, you get off at the Fischbach stop and walk five minutes to the hotel. The city center is 5 km away, Messe Friedrichshafen 11 km and Friedrichshafen Airport 12 km. Airbus, ZF and Rolls-Royce Power Systems are close by. By car, there are 35 free parking spaces, 13 of them in the underground garage, and e-bikes can be parked and charged. Dogs are welcome on request.

Fischbach is a quiet part of Friedrichshafen right on the lake; the shore is 300 meters from the hotel. The Fischbach train stop is 300 meters away, Friedrichshafen station 5.2 km, the trade fair grounds 11 km, Friedrichshafen Airport 12 km and Zurich about 120 km. Airbus, ZF, Rolls-Royce Power Systems and Zeppelin are close by. Parking at the hotel is free, with 35 spaces, 13 of them in the underground garage.
