Modern mountain lodge for groups near Munich
Spanning 182 square meters across two floors, the Suttenhütte is a completely south-facing retreat. It is perfectly situated on a sunny, unobstructed plateau, just moments away from the beautiful Suttensee and Tegernsee.
Here, you can experience the ultimate freedom of the mountains—perched 1,034 meters above the rush of everyday life—while enjoying all the comfort and luxury of a premium vacation home.
The property features four bedrooms, four marble bathrooms, two fully equipped kitchens, two cozy living rooms (each with its own traditional tiled stove), and endless, breathtaking outdoor space.
Located 50 km south of Munich, the charming town of Rottach-Egern sits at the southern shore of Lake Tegernsee. From there, a scenic toll road toward Valepp winds upwards, bringing you 300 meters in altitude to the Suttenhütte. Along the way, you pass the Sutten chairlift—your gateway to alpine fun. In summer, it effortlessly takes hikers up the Stümpfling, while in winter, it grants direct access to the premier ski slopes connecting over to the Spitzingsee area.
