The venue has been designed with sustainability in mind: a larch wood façade, clay walls for a natural climate, triple glazing and low heating requirements. Heating is provided by regional biomass (wood chips), distances remain short. The site can only be reached by cable car, gentle mobility as a principle. Certifications such as EarthCheck Gold and the Südtirol sustainability label (Level 3) confirm measurable standards.
The journey is part of the experience. Up to the valley station in Lana – where cars and everyday life are left behind. In just a few minutes, the cable car takes you up to 1,500 meters, directly to the house, in the middle of the tranquility of the Vigiljoch. For groups, this creates a shared moment as soon as you arrive. The valley station is well connected to Merano and Bolzano, and parking is available.
