Sometimes a team needs one thing above all else: a break from the daily grind. This tranquil mountain retreat in the Slovenian countryside offers just that - a place where teams can break out of their routine and create space for new ideas.
Surrounded by forests and mountains, the location combines natural materials, modern design and a relaxed atmosphere. Lots of wood, large windows and open spaces allow light and nature to become part of the room. Instead of a classic business hotel feel, the result is an environment that simultaneously promotes calm, focus and creativity.
The meeting rooms are flexibly designed and are perfect for workshops, strategy offsites or creative sessions. Plenty of natural light, a quiet environment and modern equipment create ideal conditions for focused work and productive discussions.
The accommodation offers 20 comfortable rooms with a total of around 40 beds. The rooms are modern, quiet and deliberately minimalist in design – ideal for switching off and recharging your batteries after intensive workshop days.
The location works with regional producers, seasonal menus and short delivery routes. Natural cleaning products, reduced disposable materials and resource-efficient processes in the small spa and rooms are standard.
Teams are made aware of low-impact practices; sessions on mobility, nutrition and circular thinking are included in the program on request. The bottom line: credible, practicable sustainability that supports ESG goals without degenerating into mere tokenism.
The venue is located in Žaga near Srpenica, just a few minutes from Bovec. Arrival via Ljubljana, Trieste or Klagenfurt; onward journey by rental car via well-maintained Alpine roads.
Parking spaces at the hotel, shuttle on request. Waterfall and Soča are practically on the doorstep, infrastructure such as cafés and stores can be found in Bovec. For offsites, conferences or workshops, this means short transfers, clear orientation and reliable logistics.
